Alderwood Dance Spectrum continues its commitment to excellence in dance instruction
as it has for over 25 years. Classes are designed to provide enjoyment of dance
and aid in development and maintenance of strength, flexibility and coordination,
as well as self-confidence and self-expression.
Our studio’s goal is to provide students of all ages with the skills they need to
enjoy dance for a lifetime. We have specially created Pre-school and Dance Arts
classes to introduce children to the fundamentals of several dance forms. As students
progress, they can choose to specialize in one or more dance styles. Some dancers
choose to broaden their training. A hip hop dancer may want the technical training
of jazz or a ballet student may enjoy the freedom and expressiveness of contemporary
dance. We also cater to adults with beginning level classes as well as classes for
those who have previous dance experience.
Our students have several opportunities for performing, including our June recital
which features the talents and skills our dancers have developed throughout the
year and which draws rave reviews from our audiences.
