In-person class at the studio! 3/28/2021

We are currently offering in-person classes at the studio.  (We also have virtual studio classes for those who prefer the online experience.)

Enroll now for our 6-week SUMMER SESSION 3/27/2021

The Summer Session begins June 22nd and goes through July 29th, (with some classes running July 14th through August 18th).  Registration is FREE for Summer Session.  Summer is a great time to try a new class!  It's also important for current students to keep up and build their skills and technique.  There are make-up classes available if you have vacation plans or will miss a class or two.  Class size is still limited so register soon.  View the schedule here.

Spring session of FAIRY TALE PRINCESSES 3/26/2021

We are beginning a session of our popular Fairy Tale Princess Classes on Saturdays at 1:30-2:15 pm starting on April 17th and going through May 22nd. We have re-designed the class to comply with our Covid-19 protocols (all dancers masked as well as distanced and props sanitized) while retaining all the elements of fun.

If you're interested in the whole series of 6 Fairy Tale Princesses at the discount rate of $150 (one class free!), you should register now to be assured of a spot in the class.
You may register through your Family Portal or click here. Class size is limited to a maximum of 8 princesses per class and payment must accompany reservation (we will charge your account on file). We open registration first to dancers who sign up for the whole series. If there are any spots left, we will offer individual classes for $30 each.

Fairy Tale Princesses is not only open to Alderwood Dance Spectrum dancers; you can bring a friend to join the fun and invite parents and grandparents to watch the live stream online via Zoom!

RECITAL NEWS: The show must go on! 3/25/2021

Mark your calendars for Sunday, June 13th! We have reserved the outdoor amphitheater at Willis Tucker Park for this year's Annual June Recital. This lovely park setting has a large, covered stage, plenty of parking, and space to spread out our audience. We will have several performances throughout the day to comply with state guidelines for group gatherings. Planning is underway; costumes ordered, choreography begun, and dancers are already learning their dances.

We are excited to showcase the achievements and progress our dancers have made in this challenging year by giving them the opportunity to share their talents with family and friends in a live performance.

Studio Fundraiser 3/24/2021

A recording of our annual December Holiday Show is available for purchase. We all missed having a live, in-person experience for our annual Holiday Shows in December, however we did record our dancers performing from their homes via Zoom. We have put together a wonderful compilation of all these dances into a virtual performance available for you. You will get to see all your favorites: Santa's Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, Waltz of the Flowers and more! It will warm your heart to see how everyone's hard work paid off with successful performances, as well as the creative costuming and charming backgrounds provided by our families. Email us if you'd like to purchase a link ($35). Think of it as a ticket to the show!

All of us at Alderwood Dance Spectrum know that dance brings joy to life. Its benefits go far beyond the physical, providing community connection, stress relief, and creative self-expression. It's especially important now, as we all struggle with Covid-19 and its restrictions. We hope you’ll support us in this fundraiser so that we can continue to provide that environment for our dancers.

Thank you and enjoy the show!

When my daughter and I walked in the studio almost 6 years ago we had a warm welcome from everyone here. The instructors have taught my daughter to be a confident dancer and other skills such as patience and teamwork that she has uses in her everyday life. Excellent studio with an amazing end of the year recital.
